Gina’s English

To our clients and bloggers:

I just want to let you know upfront that you may see grammatical errors on how I blog. That’s because I don’t have  perfect English and English is my 2nd language. I was born in the Philippines and have been in the United States for 3 years now. All through this time, I am doing my best to enhance my english usage by joining Toastmaster for Public Speaking, using “The Only Grammar Book You’ll Ever Need” by  Susan Thurman and practice, practice, practice.

This is also the very reason why I have editors and proof readers who check  my writings and speeches to make sure that I am being understood here in the USA. However, let’s face the fact, I will never use English language like any natural born Americans use the English language. But I will not stop learning to perfect it.

On the lighter note,  I do believe that you don’t have to have a perfect English to express your thoughts and ideas.

The most successful people in the world are those who know how to use Other People’s Leverage. If you are a business owner/entrepreneur who doesn’t have good English, hire somebody to perfect your English for you and focus on your strength as a business owner/entrepreneur. Your strength may be building system or raising capital for your business.

Each of us has our own strengths. Why focus on our weakness when we can highlight our strengths.

Like what Nike said, “Just Do It!”
