Very poor customer service at Park at the Crest Apartments
I I got to tell you about our very poor customer service experience yesterday.
We went looking for an apartment. When we got to the third apartment’s leasing office, this office personnel was on the phone. We can hear her from the lobby. So I went to let her know that we were there. Then I said, “Hi, we would like to inquire.” She said, “What?” In a very rude way. So I said it again in a very slow tone, “We would like to inquire.”
She said, “Ah ok” and went with her sales pitch. And then she said, “do you want to look at our apartments?” We said, “Yes” .
So she told us, “Ok can I have you driver’s license? And here’s the key, go to that building right there, it’s on the 3rd floor, room 137. You won’t get lost just in that building. Don’t worry I have your drivers license.”
In my brain? What! This is BS! She doesn’t have anybody else in the office but that personal phone call and she didn’t have any intention to accompany us to this model unit? This is our first time in Florida and you treat us like that. We are their future residents who will give them our hard earned money so that this lazy and inadequate personnel can have her salary, and you treat us like that!?
Yeah, we went and saw that model unit, but SHIT! I don’t want to live there.
Gosh! Whatever happened to “CUSTOMER SERVICE”!
Hi Everyone! Hope everybody’s doing well
It’s been a while since I posted anything here. My life has changed a lot since I graduated from Le Cordon Bleu last March. I became a Cook at a Childrens’ Center at Brentwood. I loved my job. I cooked food for 250-125 people at one time. The challenge was making it look good and of course taste good.
It was a school for kids who were authentic, orphans, or disturbed kids. I know all our resident kids names. Including their staffs. Loved that job. Love cooking in general.
But, life changes. My husband took a job offer here in Fort Myers, Florida. So, we are here now. Got here last week.
Yeah, I quit my job there.
What struck me the most here is the growth of this place. We all know that Florida and Las Vegas are now experience the worst downfall in terms of real estate. But the growth here in small business are booming. Because people/retirees come here to spend their vacation during snow time in other state. They make a lot of money from the tourists. Including tourists from another country, like Europe and Canada. (We hear a lot of them all over the shopping centers)
With this, I am so excited because I see a lot of opportunities here, in terms of helping business owners make more money by taking care of their business, and their employees, their most important asset.
I’ll be keeping in touch!

Has it ever happened to you?
Has it ever happened to you when you scheduled something to do that day, that time and that moment, yet you end up doing something else and at the end of the day feeling unaccomplished?
Yes it happened to me before every single time. I would say 75%. Now it still happens to me, but just 90%. I leave the 10% for myself to identify the tasks if it’s worth doing or not (while I am in that very moment). You don’t have to have a fully booked day all the time.
You can have schedule a “Free Day” in your planner. While having a peace of mind that you have already scheduled what are the most important thing to do on the following day.
That’s the beauty of the Simply Effective Planner http://www.simplyeffectiveplanner.com
Yesterday was one of those days…
Yesterday was one of those days…
Yesterday was one of those days that even if I already planned everything and wrote everything there were still a lot of thoughts, ideas, and everything floating around my brain. I was driving going to the Vet Hospital with my one and only Shih Tzu son, and boy my brain was running like 90 miles per hour!
That wasn’t fun! Because I felt the “RUSH” and the “COMMOTION” inside my brain that affected the way I was driving.
Oh well, nothing bad happened. It’s just that when this happens, what I do is take a deep breathe and get my DIGITAL RECORDER that I always carry with my in my purse. So I recorded everything in there. I usually start with the date, the time and what I am doing while I am recording that moment. Then, after I say everything that’s on my mind, I make sure I saved that record, close or turn off the recorder and forget everything. That really cleared my mind!
Then after we went to the vet, Ando and I had a good walk, and I allowed myself, gave myself a permission to relax and free my mind of anything that moment. Because I already saved it in my recorded. “Record it and forget it.”
Then, we went home so I can prepare to go to work in 45 mins. When I am at work, (I am a Weight Management Consultant), I am at work. I do everything that I have to do to perform well in my job to give clients my undivided attention, being in the moment with them to have full customer satisfaction.
When I go out from work, I leave everything in my office in relation to work. I know, it’s hard to do. I didn’t know how to do that before. But you know what, just do it! Just don’t think of anything else about work when you get home. Give your undivided attention to your family. Now, I can’t forget to talk about my office mates of course. My husband and I talk about how goofy, how pathetic some of our office mates are, and just having fun.
You have a life after your work!
My point is, ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE IN THE MOMENT WHERE EVER YOU ARE, SO YOU CAN AND WILL HAVE FUN.
This will only happen if you know HOW TO PRIORITIZE. Take a look at how our Simply Effective Planner can help you with this. http://www.simplyeffectiveplanner.com.
